The appellant is running a computer institute provided with electric connection under non-domestic -LT VI A tariff. The KSEB after inspection, changed the tariff commercial and finally to LT VI-B after hearing the objections. The consumer demands LT VI-A tariff as applicable to Govt Institutions and complaints against the tariff change and the penal bill. It is held that the action of the respondent to change the tariff is in order.
Crossing of electric posts and lines erected for providing electric supply to a third party into his property – as per the ADM’s order– P/348/2013 – Anida D, Thiruvanathapuram.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the new electric connection constructed to provide connection to a third party as per ADM’s order has crossed over to her property. The ADM has ordered to erect the posts and electric OH lines along the boundary but within the appellant’s neighbour’s property only. The case disposed with a direction to set upright all such slanting electric posts, so as to avoid crossing of electric lines and posts into the appellant’s property.

The consumer’s meter has recorded high consumption for two months and accordingly a bill was issued to him as per the meter reading. The consumer complaints that the excess reading in the electronic meter was due to voltage surge or dial jump. Though the test done with ‘Check meter’ installed along with the meter under dispute, has showed the meter as good one, the consumer was not convinced and hence filed this petition. The respondent has been directed to revise the disputed bill based on the previous bimonthly consumption.
