The consumer is having five electric connections in a building complex under LT VIIA commercial tariff. On inspecting the premises by the KSEB officials, some abnormalities were noticed in the electric meters of the consumer. Electric supply to all the five connections was immediately disconnected and provisional assessment bills were issued.

The consumer has applied to grant additional load to his institution. A demand notice served on the consumer directing to remit the estimated cost for the works like drawing of 11 KV line and installation of a new 100 KVA transformer. Meanwhile the KSEB squad detected unauthorised additional load penal bill and disconnected the supply.

Excess demand raised from the consumer as per the ToD billing procedure adopted by the KSEB for different time zones- Excess billing for 3 zones instead of Maximum excess load per day-by deviating from the direction issued in the order on ‘Rationalisation of ToD (Time of Day) tariff for HT-EHT consumers’ by the Regulatory Commission.
