The applicant, the auction purchaser of the property from KFC, applied for fresh electric connection for starting a new industry in the same industrial plot. The KSEB objected it as the existing premise was having electricity arrears of the previous owner and the applicant was asked to clear the dues first, as the pre-condition to get the new electric connection.
Excess amount collected than the actual expenditure incurred by KSEB to provide supply to the consumer - P/207/2011- Abraham Joseph , Thiruvanathapuram.

The consumer has applied for new electric connections to his Flat B’ldg and remitted the amount estimated under OYEC scheme. Even though he had remitted the amount demanded by KSEB, no special devices like Ring Main Unit or Add-on- Module were installed in the line of supply. Since the new device was not installed the consumer had requested to refund the excess amount collected from him.Dispute.
